60-year-old Lowville man displayed knife during verbal altercation, police say

LOWVILLE, NY — Cheyenne J. Alm, 60, of 7574 S. State St., Lowville, was charged by Lowville police at 8:15 p.m. Sunday, July 29, with second-degree menacing.

“The arrest stems from an incident that occurred behind the Bateman Apartments earlier in the evening where Alm displayed a knife during a verbal altercation with another subject,” police said.

He was arraigned in Lowville Village Court and released on his own recognizance. An order of protection was issued for the victim, police said.
