Adams man charged with DWI in Sackets Harbor

SACKETS HARBOR, NY  — Joshua P. Tupia, 38, of 11 Clay St., Adams, was charged by Sackets Harbor police at 1:22 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, on East Hamilton Street with driving while intoxicated, failure to stop at a stop sign and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

His blood alcohol content was 0.14 percent, police said. A BAC of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law.

He is summoned to appear Aug. 21 in Hounsfield Town Court.
