CARTHAGE, NY — Anita J. Stewart McManus, 86, of Ashville, OH, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at her residence.
Anita was born on April 28, 1932, in Carthage, NY, the daughter of the late Abner and Anita Dionne Stewart. She was a graduate of the West Carthage High School and enjoyed volunteering at the former VFW Post #2505 in Shadeville, OH.
She is survived by her children, Lloyd (Kim) McManus of Groveport, OH, Robin (Dean) Davis of Ashville, OH, Cindy (Terry) Worrix of Ashville, OH and Michael (Shannon) McManus of VA, two brothers, Thomas (Peggy) Stewart of West Carthage and William (Eileen) Stewart of Bowie, MD, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd F. McManus, grandchildren, DeAnna, Elizabeth and Hunter, a great grandson Tyler, three sisters, Rose Bezanilla, Mary Oliger and Bobbie Wagoner and two brothers, Walter and Timothy Stewart.
Funeral services were held on Monday, March 18, at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home in Ashville, OH. Burial was in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Circleville, OH.
