Crystal J. Satimore Brownell, 46, LaFargeville

LAFARGEVILLE, NY — Crystal J. Satimore Brownell, 46, of Haller Road, LaFargeville, died Friday, Aug. 31, 2018, at home.

Born Feb. 25, 1972, in Watertown, NY, a daughter of Richard and Gail Thompson Satimore, she attended Thousand Island High School, Clayton, NY.

Crystal married Edward Brownell on March 4, 1995, at the Depauville United Methodist Church.

She was a waitress for Art’s Jug, Watertown, NY for a time and worked building motors at Stature Electric, Watertown, NY. Crystal and Ed are the owner and operators of Brownell & Daughters Farm Pick-up Service, LaFargeville, NY.

She enjoyed camping, fishing, 4-wheeling, animals, especially horses, crocheting hats and spending time with family and friends. Crystal always had a smile on her face and was the most caring and giving person.

Survivors include her husband, Ed; two daughters, Autumn Brownell and companion, Alec Savage, Clayton, NY and Brooklyn Brownell, at home; one granddaughter, Georgia Jean Savage; her mother, Gail Satimore, Clayton, NY; her father and step-mother, Richard and Kathy Satimore, Fulton, NY; four sisters, Shelly Heaslip, Clayton, NY, Wendy Kampnich and husband, Dan, Croghan, NY, Sarah Lindsey and husband Chris, Clayton, NY, Tracy DeMarco Scott and companion, Randy Bush, Rodman, NY; The Hershey Family, Lowville, NY; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Her step-father, Willie Rhone, and brother-in-law, Chuck Scott, died previously.

A Celebration of Crystal’s Life will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018, at the family home on 33783 Haller Rd, LaFargeville, NY  13656.
