Dexter man accused of choking woman during domestic incident, deputies say

DEXTER, NY — Jesse Lee A. DeMarco, 25, of 21761 State Route 180, Lot 17, Dexter, was charged by Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies at 10:31 p.m. Monday, April 30, at his residence with second-degree strangulation, a felony, second-degree criminal mischief, a felony, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment.

He is accused of subjecting Tiffani C. LaBarge to unwanted physical contact by pulling her to the ground by her hair and applied pressure to her throat which caused her to lose consciousness during a domestic incident at about 10:29 p.m. Monday at his residence, according to court documents. He also allegedly smashed out a window next to a crib and knocked a television off a shelf in close proximity to a 6-month-old child causing in excess of $1,300 in damage, deputies said.

He was held for arraignment in Hounsfield Town Court, deputies said.
