WATERTOWN, NY — Doris Goodfellow Scott, 95, of Watertown passed away Saturday morning, Sept. 8, 2018, at Samaritan Summit Village.
Burial in Evans Mills Cemetery will be at her family’s convenience. There will be no calling hours or funeral service.
Arrangements are entrusted with Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Watertown.
Born Nov.19, 1922, in Theresa, a daughter of Clarence and Mary (Fleming) Aloan, she was educated in local schools.
In April 1940 she married Roy Goodfellow and he passed on July 15, 1993. A second marriage to Richard Scott ended in divorce.
For 20 years she worked as a desk clerk for Holiday Inn in Watertown.
She was a member of Emmanuel Congregational Church and a former member of Eagles Aerie 782. She was an avid Bingo player.
Doris is survived by her three children, Ronald W. Goodfellow and wife, Judy, Shalimar, FL, Terry J. Goodfellow and wife, Barbara, Sun City, AZ, and Nancy L. Gayne and husband, Vernon, Seminole, FL; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Her three brothers, Cotheal, Stanley, and Roger Aloan, and her two sisters, Christine LaClair and Ruth Littlefield, all died before her.
