Together with their families, Melissa Hoppel and Teddy Skalla announce their engagement.
Melissa is the daughter of Gregory and Julie Hoppel, Three Mile Bay. She is a graduate of Faith Fellowship Christian School & received a master’s of business administration with an accounting concentration from SUNY Oswego. She is a CPA working in advisory services at Aprio based out of Atlanta.
Teddy is the son of Elizabeth Skalla, Winnetka, IL, and John Skalla, Glencoe, IL. He is a graduate of New Trier High School and received a degree in sociology from Wittenberg University. Following graduation, he served in the Army for over five years as a Green Beret. He is currently obtaining his master’s of business administration at the University of Georgia, Athens.
The couple were engaged on June 24 on top of Angels Landing in Zion National Park, Utah. They reside in Athens, GA with their dog Gunner.
A wedding is planned for May 25, 2019, in Nashville, TN.
