WATERTOWN, NY — Justin C. Mann, 35, of 24478 Back St., Felts Mills, was charged by Watertown police at 8:47 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, in the 1000 block of Coffeen Street with felony aggravated driving while intoxicated, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and speeding.
A blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. Aggravated DWI, which carries harsher penalties upon conviction, is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or greater. Police said his BAC was 0.20 percent.
The DWI charge is a felony due to a previous conviction on Sept. 10, 2009, in Jefferson County Court, police said.
He is summoned to appear Oct. 17 in City Court.
