Glenn D. Caplicki, 33, Lowville

LOWVILLE, NY  – Glenn D. Caplicki, 33, died Monday evening, Dec. 3, 2018, at his home.

Born June 2, 1985, in Utica, the son of Glenn D. Brodt and Catherine Anne Caplicki, he graduated from Lowville Academy Central School where he played baseball. He also received a certificate from B.O.C.E.S., Culinary Arts program.

He worked doing odd jobs in the Lowville area and worked for and traveled with Coleman Bros. Shows. Glenn also volunteered at the Lowville Food Pantry.

Glenn was known for being generous, kind and helping others. All he wanted was to be loved, and accepted for who he was.

He was an avid New York Yankees fan.

Glenn is survived by his parents, his three sisters, Amy S. Brodt, Tammy (Stephan) Allen, and Rebeka A. Caplicki; his paternal grandfather, James Brodt; his maternal grandmother, Mary Akin; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother Gladys Strain, maternal grandfather, Joseph Akin, and his cousin, Craig Brodt.

His funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018, at Sundquist Funeral Home, with Rev. Bruce Roggie officiating. Calling hours will precede the funeral service from 1 to 3 p.m.
