HENDERSON, NY — Jericho J. Sanderson passed away Sunday, Oct. 7, in the emergency room at Samaritan Medical Center surrounded by his family.
Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at Carpenter Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville. Calling hours will precede the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Victory Union Cemetery, Victory, NY, following the funeral service.
He was born Nov. 10, 2016, a son to Wyatt and Nicole Kohanski Sanderson.
Jericho loved cars, watching the Baltimore Raven games with his Dad and spending time with his sister and Mom playing outside. He will be remembered by his beautiful smile and eyes; he was loved by so many.
He is survived by his parents, Wyatt Sanderson, Henderson; Nicole Kohanski Sanderson, Mannsville; his sister, Gracelynn Sanderson, Mannsville; paternal grandparents, Robert and Sharon Sanderson, Henderson;  paternal great-grandmother, Norma Stiles, maternal grandmother, Tammy Kohanski, Auburn; maternal great-grandmother’s, Mary Ann Crane and Patricia Polmateer. Also surviving are 4 uncles James, Kevin, Jeremy Kohanski, Ethan Sanderson, his Aunt, Sarah Sanderson, 2 loving step-parents, Kaitlyn Schilling-Williams, Christopher Ptacek, several cousins and a large extended family.
Jericho was predeceased by his paternal great grandparents, Reta and Francis Wood, Alfred Burlew, maternal grandfather, James Kohanski, maternal great grandparents, John and Janice Kohanski, Carroll Crane, Gary Polmanteer, two aunts, Rebecca Sanderson, Frannie Sanderson, 2 uncles, Jedidah and Derrick Sanderson and his great aunt Joan Betts.
