Leo J. Busler, 82, Watertown

WATERTOWN, NY — The memorial service for Leo J. Busler will be noon Friday, May 11, at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home with Pastor Don McGrew officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery.

Mr. Busler, 82, formerly of Manlius, passed away Monday, May 7, at the Samaritan Summit Village.

He is survived by his children, Leo P. “Bud” Busler II, Mannsville, Delbertha “Dee” William Andrews and Elwin Busler (Gail Carr), all of Watertown, and Brian Busler, Felts Mills; 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; a brother, Henry Busler, Florida; three nephews and one niece.

A daughter, Jean Murray, predeceased him.

He was born in Watertown April 22, 1936, a son to Leo P. and Delberta Denny Busler.

He served with the US Army during the Korean War from 1955 to 1957.

Mr. Busler worked for Knowlton Brothers and was a driver for Yellow Cab in Watertown for many years.

He enjoyed dancing, old country music and bluegrass music.
