BLACK RIVER, NY — Lyn Marie Rhone, 56, of 29822 Route 3, Black River, died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018, at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, where she had been a patient for a short time.
Born Oct. 19, 1961, in Carthage, the daughter of Claude “Peanut” and Eunice May Sanders Goldthrite, she graduated from Carthage Central High School.
On May 19, 1981, she married Jeffrey Rhone in Carthage.
Primarily a homemaker, she enjoyed gardening and crafts.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff and her children; Renee Rhone, Black River, Jamie Goutetmount, Black River and Rhonda Rhone, Chaumont. Also surviving are her siblings; Vicki Goldthrite, Black River, George Scholl, Jr, Carthage, Stacey Spinner, Adams and Joie Sue Scholl, Watertown, her step father, George Scholl, Sr. and her step mother, Cindy Scholl, along with six grandchildren; Logan Rhone, Hailey Seifridsberger, Nathan Seifridsberger, Ashlyn Puccia, Kelsey Goutetmount and Even Puccia.
She was predeceased by her parents, Claude and Eunice Goldthrite Scholl.
Funeral services will be held privately by the family.
