WATERTOWN, NY — Mary Louise Tenney, 83, of Curtis Apartments, passed away Friday, Feb. 22, at the Samaritan Keep Nursing Home.
The funeral service will be 5 pm Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019, at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Smith officiating. Calling hours are 3:30 to 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Spring burial will be in North Watertown Cemetery.
Mary was born in Bowling Green, KY, a daughter to Clarence and Ima Phelps.
She married Robert G. Tenney. He passed away January 20, 1963.
Mrs. Tenney was a waitress at Gene’s Inn and Grieco’s Brass Rail. She later worked at Faichney’s, Mercy Hospital, and was a Home Health Care aide.
Mrs. Tenney enjoyed being with her family and their family get-togethers.
She is survived by two sons and their wives, Terry and Sharon, Robert and Valerie, all of Watertown; a daughter Robin and her spouse Cate Tenney, Texas; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, three great- great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Virgil, Lyle, Lucille, Eunice, Ruby and twins Merle and Earl.
