WATERTOWN, N.Y.
— Sandi L.
McCarthy, 56, of 250 Breen Ave., passed Wednesday, Jan. 2,
at Samaritan Medical Center.
A funeral service will be 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at Hart
& Bruce Funeral Home with Rev. Douglas J. Marlow Vicar
of the Anglican Church of Christ the King officiating.
Calling hours will precede the service from 5 to 7 p.m.
Saturday, Jan. 5, at the funeral home.
Born Dec. 27, 1956, in Jamestown, a daughter of William S.
Geertson and the late Ann E. Rose, she graduated in 1974
from Penn Yan Academy.
She was a homemaker, enjoyed going to yard sales and selling
antiques. She participated in Court Street Antiques, Paddock
Art & Antiques in the Paddock Arcade and Turn Back Time
in Three Mile Bay.
She was involved with the North Country Crafters
Association, events coordinator for the Downtown Business
Association and organized and ran the Paddock’s Fall
Farmers Market.
Surviving besides her father are her two daughters, Jodi L.
Henderson, Penn Yan, N.Y., and Michelle A. Henderson and her
companion, Dana Jensen, Branchport, N.Y.; five
granddaughters, Courtney, Paige, Taylor, Olivia, Madeline;
her companion, Raymond E. Luttmann; her good friend of 18
years, Matthew McCarthy, Watertown; two brothers and their
wives, A. Dennis and Dottie Hansen, W. David and Cindy
Geertson, all of Branchport, N.Y.; two sisters and a
brother-in-law, Cindy Enos, Linda and Dominick Ciancaglini,
all of Penn Yan; several nieces and nephews.
