BLACK RIVER, N.Y.  —  Willie O. Wills, 49, of North Main Street, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, at his home.

Born Aug. 5, 1963, in Scooba, Miss., the son of Willie Otis Stitman and Ruth Wills, he graduated from East St. Louis High School and Culinary Arts School in Illinois. 

Mr. Wills worked for the Black River Department of Public Works and later as a supervisor at Alteri's Bakery until he became ill in 2002.

Suviving are his mother, Ruth Wills; four sisters, Theresa, and Pearlie Wills, all of East St. Louis, Makita Wills, Detroit, and Patricia Ballard, Black River; and three brothers, Lonnie, Freddie and Joe Wills, all of East St. Louis.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by the M.L. King Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois.
