Jae M. Molnar

ADAMS CENTER, N.Y.  —  Jae M. Molnar, 40, of Route 11, died Monday afternoon, Feb. 6, from injuries sustained in a multi vehicle accident in the town of Philadelphia. 

The funeral will be 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, at the Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville, with Pastor Terry Nichols officiating.  Spring burial will be Fairview Cemetery, Town of Rodman.  Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, prior to the funeral.

Born June 9, 1971, a son to Charles and Beverly Nichols Molnar, he graduated in 1990 from South Jefferson Central School. While in high school, Jae was a member of the cross country, soccer and indoor and outdoor track and field teams. 

He attended North Country Community College in Saranac Lake, playing soccer for the college team. Jae also played semi-pro rugby while at college. He also attended Auburn Community College. 

Following his education, Jae was a certified nurse’s aide at the Samaritan Medical Center. He was a manager for Rex Appliance for 15 years, and was currently manager at the Dollar General Store on outer Leray Street, Watertown. 

Jae was an avid sports fan and enjoyed hunting and fishing. 

Surviving are his parents, Charles and Beverly Molnar, Adams Center; two daughters, Brianne Rogler, Secpio Center, N.Y., and Ciara Molnar, Sharpsburg, N.C.; his grandmother, Lavinia Nichols, Adams; his sister, Anita Molnar, and her daughter, Jae’s niece, Tavia Molnar, Clementon, N.J.; many aunts, uncles and cousins.  

Jae was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Ross Nichols, and his paternal grandparents, Frank and Dorothy Molnar.
