WATERTOWN, N.Y.  —  Rose Folino Pangallo, 89, died Friday afternoon, Feb. 8, at Mercy Center of Northern New York where she had resided since May 9, 2005.

Spring burial will be at the convenience of the immediate family in Glenwood Cemetery, town of Watertown. There will be no calling hours or services.

Arrangements are with Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Watertown.

Donations may be made in her name to St. Anthony's Church, 850 Arsenal St., or to the Alzheimer's Association of CNY, Jefferson County Unit, 120 Washington St, both in Watertown, N.Y. 13601.

Born Oct. 21, 1918, in Watertown, daughter of Dominic and Mary Leana Folino, she graduated from Watertown schools.

She married Joseph J. Pangallo on Oct. 21, 1937, at St. Anthony's Church with Msgr. Claude Sechi officiating. He died Aug. 14, 1993.

Mrs. Pangallo was a homemaker and was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church.

Surviving are three sons and a daughter-in-law, R. Frank and Joseph R., both of Watertown, and Dominic A. and Cheryl, Webster; her son-in-law, Frederick Sovie, Watertown; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; her sister, Josephine Zucarrini, Detroit, Mich.; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Josephine S. Sovie, and her 3 brothers, Dominic, Robert, and Frank Folino.
