WATERTOWN, N.Y.  —  Stanley L. Farmer, 69, of 1708 Ohio Street, Apt. 66, died March 26, at home under the care of his family and Hospice on Jefferson County. 

He was born June 24, 1938, in Carthage, the son of Ray and Jean Farmer. 

He married Caroline Seery on Feb. 11, 1961, at First Baptist Church, Carthage. 

Mr. Farmer worked for Diminos Construction, Rochester, and later as a mechanic for Jefferson Rehabilitation Center. He was also employed for 11 years at Price Chopper in Watertown.  

He enjoyed hunting and fishing. 

Surviving besides his wife are a son, Stanley R., Watertown; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.  

A daughter Laurie Archer died Sept. 12, 2007, and a brother, Ray Farmer, and four sisters, Evelyn Robbins, Linda, Viola, and Edna Farmer, all died before him. 

Services will be private. 

Arrangements are with the Cleveland Funeral Home, Inc, Watertown.
