THREE MILE BAY, N.Y.  —  Ruth M. Sager, 86, formerly of Three Mile Bay, died Monday, April 7, at Claxton Hepburn Hospital in Ogdensburg. 

She was born Feb. 7, 1922, in Honeoye Falls, the daughter of Harry and Marie McNeil.  

She married George Sager on Oct. 10, 1940, at Rush, N.Y. 

Mrs. Sager with her husband owned and operated Sagers Arco gas station in Three Mile Bay. They retired in 1985.   

Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Shirley Davis, LaFargeville, and Vicki and Lee Frakes, Gun Barrel City, Texas; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.  

A son, Timothy William, a brother Arthur McNeil, and two sisters, Ethel Tryon and Helen Duffus, all died before her.  

Services will be private. 

Arrangements are with the Becker-Cleveland Funeral Home, Chaumont.
