Beulah F. Clearo

WATERTOWN, N.Y.  —  Beulah F. Clearo, 75, of 324 Arlington St., died Monday at her home under the care of her family and Hospice of Jefferson County. 

Funeral services and burial will be held for the convenience of the family.  

Calling hours are 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday, April 20, at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home. 

Born in Iowa, she was raised by the Rev. I Mark Ross and Lula Ross, and graduated from Hesston College, Kansas, MO in the 1950s.  

Mrs. Clearo was a police officer in Kansas. She drove stock car while living in Kansas. 

She married Donald C. Clearo on Aug. 24, 1973, in Kansas. The couple moved to Watertown in 1973. 

She was a volunteer for the Muscular Dystrophy Association for many years and enjoyed bowling.  

Besides her husband of Watertown and mother of Florida, she is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law, Debbie and Keith Fretz, Canada, Sandra Yount, Watertown, and Diane Stewart, Bremerton, Wa.; a son, Mark Gungerich, Parkville, Mo.; two brothers, Conrad and Curtis, both of Florida; 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; and her pet cat, Sam.
