WATERTOWN, N.Y. — Beverly
A. Amos, 74, of Watson Road, Copenhagen, died Wednesday
morning, May 14, at Samaritan Medical Center where she had
been a patient for about a month.
Born Nov. 21, 1933, in Potsdam, daughter of Ernest and Agnes
Glidden Mehaffy,s he graduated from Watertown High School.
She worked at Bomax, Northland Electric and retired
from Stature Electric due to ill health.
A marriage to Fred Amos Jr. ended in divorce.
Surviving are three sons, Melvin, Copenhagen, Edward,
Rutland, and Craig, Lenoir City, Tenn.; four daughters,
Valerie Hall, Limerick, Marlene Filmer, Lenoir City, Tenn.,
Darlene Mundy, and Dawn Goutremout, both of Copenhagen; 16
grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; many nieces and
nephews.
A son, Marvin, a grandson, Gregory Filmer, and four brothers
Linden, Chester, Wendell and Ernest Jr., all died before
her.
There will be no calling
hours or funeral. Her body will be cremated. Burial will be
at a later date.
