— Jerome
M. Branagan, 19, of Lovers Lane Road, died Sunday, May 25,
from injuries suffered in an ATV accident in the town of New
Bremen.
A funeral Mass will be
said 10 a.m. Friday, May 30, at St. Peter’s Catholic
Church, Lowville, with Rev. Christopher Looby, Parochial
Vicar, officiating. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, May
30, in Brantingham Cemetery.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 29,
at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville.

Born Sept. 12, 1988, in
Watertown, son of Bruce and Kathleen Lyng Branagan, he
graduated from Beaver River Central School in 2006, and was
currently a student at SUNY Canton in the Science
Engineering Program.
While in high school, he was a member of National Honor
Society, and was on the Dean’s List at SUNY Canton.
He was a three sport athlete in high school, where he was a
member of the baseball, football, and wrestling teams. He
was a member of the baseball team at SUNY Canton.
Mr. Branagan enjoyed
snowmobiling, four-wheeling, hunting, and being with his
friends. He was active with the West Ponds Hunting
Club in Soft Maple.
Surviving are his mother,
Kathleen A. Branagan, Croghan; his father, Bruce E. Branagan,
Glenfield; a brother, Justin E. Branagan, Glenfield; his
maternal grandmother, Patricia Lyng, Lowville; his paternal
grandfather and step-grandmother, Herbert and Rebecca
Branagan, Harrisville; a nephew, Ivan E. Branagan; many
aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Bruce Lyng;
and by his paternal grandmother, Shirley Branagan.
