— Ralph H. Sulier, 80, of Gettysburg,
Pa., the husband of the late Grace Edick Sulier, died early Monday, May 26,
at Green Acres Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, May 29, at Sundquist Funeral Home, 7676 State Street, Lowville, NY with Rev. Bruce W. Chapman, retired minister, officiating. Burial will follow at the Ellisburg Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
Born June 8, 1927, in Laconia, N.H., a son of Charles E. and Nellie M. Boyd
Sulier, he was educated on Grindstone Island.
On May 12, 1950, he married Grace Edick in Martinsburg.
Mr. Sulier was employed by Albert Kipfer of the Town Line Road in Rome, NY for 45 years. Mrs. Sulier died in June of 1991.
Surviving Mr. Sulier are a son, Charles Sulier, Jacksonville,
Fla.; five daughters and sons-in-law: Norma and Robert Kiblin of Watertown, NY; Nancy and Paul Little of Plant City,
Fla., Diane and Kenneth Stonesifer and Ethel and Charles Stonesifer all of
Abbottstown, Pa., and Cindy and Kelly Pope, Taberg, N.Y.; 19 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren and two sisters, Winnie Scales and Frances Ward.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Michelle who died at birth, two sisters and five brothers.
Mr. Sulier was a volunteer fireman for the Ellisburg Fire Department.
He enjoyed playing cards and loved watching baseball.
