WATERTOWN, N.Y.  —  Lloyd A. Barrigar, 58, of 20951 Parish Rd., County Route 16, Watertown, passed away Saturday, June 16, at his residence under the care of Hospice of Jefferson County and his family. 

Born Feb. 14, 1954, in Ogdensburg, the son of Jay and Margaret Helmer Barrigar, he was educated locally. Mr. Barrigar served in the United States Marine Corps from 1971 to 1973. 

He married Theresa Jackimczuk on Nov. 12, 1976.

He worked as a laborer at various locations in Watertown throughout his career.

Surviving besides his wife, Theresa, are a son and his wife, Robert and Allison (Root) Barrigar, Hammond; a daughter, Christina Barrigar, Watertown; three grandchildren, Jovante, Jaleil, and James, Jr.; a sister-in-law, Patricia Pellegrini, Watertown; a nephew, Joseph Pellegrini; three brothers, a sister, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 23, at the Watertown Assembly of God with Rev. Shane Ryan and Rev. Dan Quinta officiating. There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Jefferson County, Watertown Assembly of God, or the Richard E. Winter Cancer Center, Ogdensburg, NY.
