CROGHAN, N.Y. — Helen M. Bilger, 60, Waterloo,
and formerly of Croghan, died Saturday afternoon, July
7, at the home of
Aaron and Edith Zimmerman where she had resided for three
years.
Funeral services for will be
held 10 a.m. Thursday, July 12, at the Croghan Mennonite
Church with the ministry of the Crystal Light Mennonite
Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Crystal Light
Church Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Adirondack Funeral
Home, Croghan.
Calling hours will be held 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday,
July 10, at the Waterloo Mennonite Church, Miller Rd.
Waterloo. Calling hours will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday,
July 11, at the Crystal Light Mennonite Church in New Bremen.
She was born June 16, 1952 to Elam and Mary Bowman
Burkholder.
She had worked at Sauder’s Store in Seneca Falls and at
Weavers Bakery.
She enjoyed reading, putting puzzles together and writing
letters.
Surviving are her siblings, Eugene Burkholder and Elam
Burkholder both of Myerstown, Pa., Clarence Burkholder,
Atlanta, Ga., and Marjorie Pennypacker, Leesport, Pa.
