— Rose E. Weber, 81, formerly of
Buffalo, died Thursday, July 17, at the Lewis County
Residential Health Care Facility.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of
the family at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville.
Born Sept. 26, 1926, in Whiting, Ind., a daughter of Peter
P. and Domina Glavurtich, she moved to Chicago, Illinois, at
a young age. She worked for General Mills in Chicago.
A marriage to Richard W. Weber ended in divorce.
She lived many years in the Buffalo area before moving to
Lowville in 2007.
Surviving are five
children and their spouses, Deborah and Allen Brigham,
Lowville, Darryl Weber, Lancaster, Gary Weber, Inverness,
Fla., Linda and David Blakeley, Lancaster, Maxine and Bryan
Ferry, Akron; six grandchildren, great-grandchildren,
nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by a brother, Peter Glavurtich; three
sisters, Mary DiMarco, Theresa Coccaro; and Helen Glavurtich,
who died as a child.
