Anne E. Maciejko

LYONS FALLS, N.Y.  —  Anne E. Maciejko, 87, of Shibley Road, passed away Monday evening, July 22, at the Lewis County Residential Healthcare Facility. 

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday, July 25, at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville, with Deacon James Chaufty, officiating. Burial will follow in Lowville Rural Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. 

Born March 27, 1926, in Lowville, a daughter of the late Leslie and Winifred Reape Wetmore, she attended Lowville Academy and worked in Rome, N.Y., prior to her marriage.  

She married Ralph W. Maciejko on May 31, 1946.  Together with her husband, the couple owned and operated a dairy farm on Route 12D in Constableville from 1951 until 1976, when they retired, and moved to their home on Shibley Road in Lyons Falls.

Mrs. Maciejko was a communicant of St. John’s Catholic Church in Lyons Falls.  

She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and quilting.

Surviving are two sons, Mike and his wife, Tami Maciejko of Colorado; Joe and his wife, Alice Maciejko of Constableville; a daughter, Mary Maciejko of New Jersey; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She is predeceased by her husband, Ralph Maciejko, who died April 3, 1989; a daughter, Shirley Ann Maciejko, who died March 5, 2011; a brother, Francis “Satch” Wetmore; and three sisters, Georgia Stone Beaty, Patricia Converse, and Sally Wicks.
