Anne Marshall

WATERTOWN, N.Y.  —  The funeral for Anne “Annie” Marshall will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, at the funeral home.  

Contributions may be made to the Diabetes or American Heart Associations.

Miss Marshall, 43, formerly of Watertown, died Friday, Sept. 25, at the Chandler Medical Center, Chandler, Ariz. She had resided in Maricopa, Ariz.

Born Aug. 13, 1966, in El Paso, Texas, a daughter of George and Adella Youngs Marshall, she graduated from Watertown High School in 1984.  

Annie worked for Sherwood Medical of Watertown for 13 years.  She left to pursue her college education, graduating from Potsdam State in 2006 with her Bachelor’s degree in education.  She student taught at Belleville-Henderson and Sackets Harbor Central Schools until moving to Arizona in 2009.

Annie was a Big Sister in the Big Sister/ Big Brother program, she enjoyed camping and hiking and spending time with her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her companion, Stephen Comenole, Arizona; her mother and step-father, Adella and James Dick; her father and his companion, George Marshall and Rose Robbins; a sister, Abbey Dick; a brother and his companion, Timothy Marshall and Ginny Timmerman, all of Watertown; a step-sister and husband, Julie and Tim Covey, Carthage; a step brother and his wife, Brian and Kelly Dick, Adams; nieces and nephews.
