Kim Le Fazio

WATERTOWN, N.Y.  —  Kim Le Fazio, 52, 402 Harris Drive, passed away Friday, Oct. 16, at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse.

Calling hours will be held 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, at Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., 214 Sterling St., Watertown. The funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, at St. Anthony's Church with Rev. Donald Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.  

Born Sept. 17, 1957, in Dover, N.J., the daughter of William P. and Leona "Loni" Phelps Watters, she graduated from Edwards High School in 1975 and attended Jefferson Community College.

She married Peter J. Fazio in Melbourne, Fla., on Sept. 4, 1982. For 10 years, Kim and her family traveled with the Army. Upon their return to Watertown in January 1994,  Kim started working at Marra's Homecare, where she was employed until her death.

Kim was an avid gardener, crafter, and baker. 

She loved to sew and made many elaborate baby blankets and afghans for family and friends.

Besides her husband, Peter, she is survived by her mother, Leona "Loni" Watters, Timberlake, N.C.; three children, Amy L. Fazio McMurchie and her husband, CPT. Shaun McMurchie, Killeen, Texas, LCPL Sean F. Fazio, San Diego, Calif., and Danielle M. Fazio and her companion, Christopher Cosey, Houston, Texas; five grandchildren; a brother and his wife, William M. and Suzanne Watters, Oakland, N.J.; a sister and her husband, Louise and Kevin Walters, Melbourne, Fla.; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
