— Daniel Sullivan, 92, Burrville, died at his home
Sunday evening, Oct. 18.
The funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, at Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., 214 Sterling St., Watertown,
with Rev. Steven Murray, Holy Family Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.

Born in Perinton on Jan. 13, 1917, the son of Thomas J. and Elizabeth Hickey
O'Sullivan, he graduated in 1936 from Macedon High School.
He married Anne M. Buican on Tuesday, June 12, 1945, at Holy Family Church with Rev. Bernard Desnoyer officiating. Mrs. Sullivan, the owner of The Spiced Apple Gift Shop, died May 9, 1988.
He had farmed in the Rochester area, then the Watertown area. In 1947, he began his career with NYS Dept. of Transportation, and was a civil engineer until his retirement in 1982. He received the Engineer of the Year award in 1976 and was a member of the NNY Section of the State
Association of Transportation Engineers.
He was a volunteer with the Town of Watertown Fire Dept., was a member of the Watertown Golf
Club.
He enjoyed working in his gardens.
After his retirement, he partnered with his wife in the operation of her gift shop.
Mr. Sullivan is survived by his son and his wife, C. Timothy and Laurie A. Sullivan, Burrville; 1 brother and his wife, Donald and Edna Sullivan, Houndsfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his wife, Anne, he was predeceased by his brother and his wife, Edwin and Helen, and
a nephew, Fr. Patrick Sullivan.
