WATERTOWN, N.Y. —
Bruce J. Ashline, 49, of Frontenac Street, died Sunday at
Carthage Area Hospital following a four month illness.
Mr. Ashline was a licensed practical nurse at MEDDAC on Fort
Drum for 25 years, a position he currently held at the time
of his passing.
Born April 24, 1960, in Lowville, a son of the late Harlow
and Delores Gerow Ashline, he graduated from Lowville
Academy.
He married Deborah Fulle April 9, 1994, in Indiana.
Mr. Ashline was a 29-year member of the Christian Life
Center Church on State St. Hill, Watertown, serving as an assistant
pastor for 12 years.
Surviving are his wife, Deborah; three sons and a
daughter-in-law, Josiah, Oswego, Jeffrey, Watertown, Sean
and Julie Anderson, Indiana; a daughter and son-in-law,
Heather and Tom Champion, Fort Drum; six grandchildren; srothers
and sisters, Helen Sears, Michigan, Michael, Georgia, Diane
Chartrand, Carthage, Wayne, Lowville, Gary and Brian,
Castorland, Carol Dillabough, Watertown, Allen, Croghan,
Joyce Millnitz, Naumburg; an aunt, Charlotte Gerow, Lowville;
many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, at the
Christian Life Center, Route 126, Watertown, with Rev. Frank
Pollard, officiating. Burial will be private. Calling hours
are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Reed &
Benoit Funeral Home.
