BELLEVILLE, N.Y.  —  Marian K. VanBrocklin, 89, of NYS Route 289, died Monday evening at the Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown.

Born Aug. 20, 1920, in Watertown, a daughter of Halsey and Lillian Guller Kimball, she graduated from Watertown High School.   

A marriage to John J. Olah ended in divorce. She married Virgil J. VanBrocklin June 6, 1954, at Emmanuel Congregational Church, Watertown. Mr. VanBrocklin died Jan. 10, 1995.

Surviving are a daughter, Carole Olah Prouty, Adams Center; a son, Richard Lee Olah, Belleville; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, two sisters, and a daughter, Patricia Ann, who died in infancy.

There are no calling hours.  Graveside services are private.
