Mark E. Hilts

CHAUMONT, N.Y.  —  Mark E. Hilts, 60, of Chaumont, passed away Saturday afternoon, Nov. 3, at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown.

Born March 20, 1952, in Watertown, the son of Arthur and Blanche Swain Hilts, he graduated from Lyme Central School.

He was a truck-driver for several companies and was last employed by Fed-Ex of Watertown.

He is survived by a daughter, Angela Schaber, Watertown; two grandchildren, Kaelina Hilts and Heleina Schaber of Watertown; his father, Arthur Hilts Sr., Chaumont; a brother Arthur and Maryann Hilts Jr., Chaumont; sisters, Sharon Chambers, Watertown, Linda Henderson, LaFargeville, and Mrs. Christopher (Robin) Sayyeau, Chaumont; nieces and nephews.

His mother, Blanche, and two brothers, Richard and Bruce Hilts, all died before him.

A private graveside service will be held in Dexter Cemetery. There are no calling hours. 

Donations may be made to River of Life Fellowship Church, 24650 Hinds Road, Watertown, N.Y. 13601 in lieu of flowers.
