Malcolm R.
“Bob” Moss, 75, of Route 37, died Saturday, Nov. 3, at
his home while under the care of his family and Hospice of
Jefferson County.
Born June 1, 1937, in Rochester, the son of Hiram and Sylvia
Holland Moss, he graduated from Benjamin Franklin High
School.
He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam
Conflict and was honorably discharged.
He married Gladys P. Salisbury on Oct. 16, 1971, in
Rochester.
Mr. Moss was employed at Kodak Park as an inspector, Bonds
Clothing Company as a cutter and matcher and Rite Aid
Pharmacy as a security guard, all in Rochester.
Upon his retirement in 2000, he and Mrs. Moss moved to
Redwood.
He was an active member of Lakeside Lodge #328 IOOF in
Redwood and a member of the Redwood United Methodist Church.
Mr. Moss enjoyed reading, playing cards and golf.
Survivors including his wife, Gladys, are a stepdaughter,
Marsha Salisbury, N.J.; and a brother, Erwin Moss, Fla.
A sister, Shirley Gross, died before him.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at Redwood
United Methodist Church with Rev. Frederica Webb
officiating.
Arrangements are with Frederick Bros. Funeral Home, Theresa.
