HENDERSON, N.Y.  —  Billie Rose Campalans, 77, beloved mother, grandmother, wife, and friend to many, died Monday, Nov. 5, at Samaritan Hospital in Watertown. 

Born in Missoula, Missouri, she led a wonderful life attending Hobart and William Smith College, marrying her Kappa Alpha sweetheart, Luis, in 1958 with whom she shared 40 years in Venezuela until his passing in 1998. 

Born Feb. 6, 1935, the daughter of Rose and Harold Horton, she is survived by her two sons, Luis and Alfonso; four grandchildren; two sisters, Susan, and her husband, Harvey, and Barbara; as well as her nieces and nephews in Barcelona, Caracas, and Sao Paulo; Karla, Olivia, Rebecca, Gabriela, Victor, Juan Manuel, Patrick, Mathew, Joel, Sarah, Joshua, Bradley and Laura.

The family wishes to thank all those whom have shared their kind words of support during this time and will welcome those whom wish to pay their last respects at an intimate memorial service to be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at Henderson United Methodist Church.
