WATERTOWN, N.Y.  —  Mary Jane Hunt, 69, of Stone Street, and formerly of LaFargeville, died Dec. 27 at Samaritan Medical Center. 

As per her request, there will be no calling hours or funeral service.

Born Sept. 5, 1943, in Syracuse, the daughter of Hank Thelma Ballou Burminghan, she attended area schools and Clinton Community College.

She married Harold Hunt Jr. on Sept. 1, 1973, in Watertown. He predeceased her.

She enjoyed painting, reading, crocheting and playing all kinds of games.

Surviving are three daughters, Renee (Michael) Jones, Danielle (Walt) Perkins, all of LaFargeville and Rebecca Reff, Michigan; seven grandchildren; a brother John, Colorado; nieces and nephews.

Two brothers, Donald and Larry, and two sisters, Doris Barber and Shirley Treadway, all died before her.

Arrangements are with the T.R. Jetty Funeral Home in Clayton.
