Rosaria Williamson, 88, Livonia, MI, and formerly of
Watertown, died Dec. 26 at Marycrest Manor where she resided
Born April 18, 1924, the daughter of the late Alexander H.
and Margaret DePoto Cozzi, she graduated in 1941 from
Immaculate Heart Academy.
Gloria pursued a professional dancing career as a Rockette
in New York City. Later, she had a career as secretary for
Levi Strauss, San Francisco, and General Motors in Detroit
from where she retired.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Kehl) Mullis; her
son, Fred (Cheryl), granddaughter, Erika Williamson;
grandson Darris Norfolk; two brothers Richard (Carol) Cozzie,
and Anthony (Mary) Cozzie; a sister, Marie Marra; and, many
nieces and nephews.
A son, David Norfolk, a sister, Adaleen Trimm and brother,
Rudy Cozzi, all died before her.
A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, at
Marycrest Manor Chapel in Livonia, Michigan. All are
