Kendra Jo O'Connor

January 4, 2017
WATERTOWN, NY  —  Kendra Jo Kiblin O’Connor, 28, beloved wife of Benjamyn R. O’Connor departed this life peacefully on Dec. 30, 2016, at her home in Woonsocket, RI.

Kendra was born Oct. 13, 1988, in Watertown and graduated from Belleville-Henderson High School.

On Nov. 22, 2013, she was united in marriage with the love of her life, Benjamyn O’Connor.

Kendra had a passion for exploring and adventuring. Ben and Kendra traveled to Mexico, complete with a dolphin swimming adventure, for her sister in law's wedding. For their honeymoon they took a lengthy tour of Europe, visiting Ireland, England, and culminating with New Year’s Eve in Paris at the Eiffel Tower. Along with this they frequently visited Boston, Washington, D.C., Tennessee, upstate NY, and NYC to visit friends and families, and participate with Ben's veteran associations. Kendra was always ready for their next experience, and always had Ben by her side.

Kendra's true joy in life was family. From her birth family, to her adopted family, to her family by marriage, to her family of friends, to the family she had hoped to grow with her husband, she blended the many families that loved her into one, and her loss will be felt forever in all our hearts.

She leaves behind her husband Benjamyn R. O’Connor, Woonsocket, RI; a step daughter, Alyssa Welk, Clarksville, TN; her parents, Robert and Terri (Goodnough) Pickett, Watertown, NY and Steve and Sherry (Farmer) Kiblin, Henderson, NY; siblings, Rob (Meghan), Melody, Cliff (Leslie), Nina (Derrick), Jesse, Shelby, Stephanie and Ashley; her in laws, Donald O’Connor and Ryan and Laurie (Davidson) Donohue, Watertown, NY; sister in laws, Aubrey and Jennafir (Jarrett); her niece’s and nephews: Skylar, Gaven, Abbigail, Landon, Camille, David, Jessianne, Gilberto, Cadience, Maria and Harlee; also aunts, uncles, cousins (and her punk cat, Snarf) to mourn her loss.
