E. Giddings, 87, of Bradenton, FL, and formerly of S.
Hamilton Street, Watertown, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 8,
at the Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton.
will be held in the spring of 2017.
Burial will be in the Ellisburg Cemetery.

Born April 8, 1929, in Ellisburg, NY, a daughter to Elwin
and Anna May Bradley Giddings, she graduated from Union
Academy Belleville. She
furthered her education at the Mercy School of Nursing.
Eleanor was a Registered Nurse at Mercy Hospital in
Watertown, the Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles, CA,
Washington, DC, and Crouse Memorial Hospital, Syracuse.
Eleanor went to work for Jefferson County Department of
Social Services in 1966.
She retired in 1991 as training coordinator
supervisor for the county.
She was a long time active member of the Daughters of the
American Revolution. (DAR)
Eleanor is survived by a sister Fern I. Girard, Phoenix, AZ;
many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, LeMoine R. Giddings,
and two brothers, Bradley G. Giddings and Lloyd E. Giddings.
