Ronald A. Whittier

WATERTOWN, NY  —  Ronald A. Whittier, 58,  passed away Sunday, April 16, at Hospice of Jefferson County at the Ellis Farm where he had been a patient briefly.

The memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 21, in the gazebo of North Watertown Cemetery. There are no calling hours. A reception will be held at the Watertown Eagles Club following his burial.

Born in Watertown July 30, 1958, in Watertown, a son of Robert and Rose (Bachner) Whittier, he graduated from Watertown High School, and received an associate’s degree from Jefferson Community College. 

He worked as a machinist for New York Air Brake.

Ronald was a member of Eagles FOE #782. 

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, the Buffalo Bills, and collecting Star Trek memorabilia.

Surviving are his son and daughter, Dellie and Keith Whittier, Watertown; three siblings, Roseanne Brown, Pamela Whittier, Marsha Whittier; six grandchildren, Sierrah, Zoey, Elena, Emma, Stella, Kori; a great-grandson, Dawson Danielson; and his companion, Amy Blair.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Robert F., Jr. and Larry A.
