WATERTOWN, NY — City police are investigating an accident at about 2:05 p.m. Sunday, May 13, near the intersection of Washington and Woodruff streets in which a vehicle struck an ornamental lamp post. Police were assisted at the scene by state police, city firefighters, Guilfoyle Ambulance and staff from Samaritan Medical Center. Further details have not been released by police.
