OSWEGO, NY — The Oswego Sheriff’s Office released the following arrest information on June 8, 2018:
On 6/7/18 at 1:13 p.m., Ryan R. Preston, 17, of 103 Bridge Street, Cleveland, NY was arrested for Computer Trespass, a class E felony stemming from the investigation into an incident that occurred in the Town of Constantia where he allegedly used a computer to gain access to information and make changes in January 2018. Mr. Preston is scheduled to answer the charge on 6/18/18 in the Town of Constantia Court.
On 6/7/18 at 2:32 p.m., Alexandra L. Arnold, 21, of 4321 CR 4, Oswego, NY was arrested based on a Bench Warrant issued out of Oswego County Family Court. Ms. Arnold was arraigned in Family Court and is scheduled to return on 6/14/18.
On 6/7/18 at 4:59 p.m., Mitchell D. Smith, 33, of 29 South Jefferson St., Apt. 2, Mexico, NY was arrested for Grand Larceny, fourth-degree, a class E felony; Robbery, second-degree, a class C felony; Assault, third-degree, a class A misdemeanor and Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, a class A misdemeanor following the investigation into a domestic incident that occurred on 6/6/18 in the Town of Mexico where he allegedly unlawfully entered the victim’s residence and physically attacked the victim and pushed them onto a bed attempting to gain cash. Mr. Smith was arraigned in the Town of New Haven Court and remanded to the OCJ in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond with a return to Town of Mexico Court on 6/12/18.
On 6/7/18 at 8:53 p.m., Steven M. Haynes, 34, of 2030 CR 1, Oswego, NY was arrested for Assault, first-degree, a class B felony; Attempted Murder, second-degree, a class A felony and Criminal Possession of a Weapon, third-degree, a class D felony following an incident that occurred in the Village of Mexico where he intentionally stabbed the victim in the right temple with a screwdriver. Mr. Haynes was arraigned in the Town of Mexico Court and remanded to the OCJ held without bail and is scheduled to return to court on 6/12/18.
On 6/7/18 at 9:42 p.m., Kenneth W. Pitsley, 40, of 1237 CR 85, Lot 17, Hannibal, NY was charged with AUO, second-degree and Inadequate Plate Lamp following a traffic stop on SR 3 in the Town of Granby. Mr. Pitsley was arraigned in the Town of Granby Court and is scheduled to return on 6/11/18.
On 6/8/18 at 3:44 a.m., Joshua D. Jorgensen, 27, of 2588 US Rt 11, Lot 1, Parish, NY was charged with AUO, third-degree following a mva on SR 69 in the Town of Amboy. Mr. Jorgensen is scheduled to answer the charge on 6/19/18 in the Town of Amboy Court.
