Paul F. LaFave, 55, Hammond

HAMMOND, NY — Loving brother Paul F. LaFave, 55, passed away peacefully Dec. 10, 2018.

He attended Watertown High School, and worked several years in FL as a commercial fisherman before returning home to live on the St. Lawrence River and work for Pike Construction Co. as a laborer.

Paul was predeceased by his parents, Frederick and Mary LaFave, sisters, Sharon (Bruce) Graban, and Joan Bennett, nephews, Michael LaFave and Bill Derrigo.

He is survived by two brothers and their wives, James (Sharon) LaFave and Joseph (Patricia) LaFave; seven sisters and four brothers-in-law, Ann McDonald, Patricia LaFave-Williams, Ruth (Chip) Smothers, Karen (Rick) Lee, Dorothy Derrrigo, Linda (Gary) Guthrie, Susanne (Thomas) Scheg and Chuck Bennett; his oldest and first nephew, Thomas (Kelly) Graban, many nieces and nephews, and Paul’s companion, Lisa McDonald (her two children Darran and Jaylyn).

Arrangements are with the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home, 117 N. Massey St., Watertown.

Calling hours will be held 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, at the funeral home.

A Celebration of Life will follow at the VFW Club, 231 Bellew Ave., Watertown.
