Watertown Police Department:

Marquis M. Dawkins, 29, of 20 Garden Rd., Philadelphia. was charged by Watertown police at 11:18 p.m. June 2 in the 400 block of Clay Street with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. Mr. Dawkins is accused  of possessing a sandwich baggie containing ten individually wrapped packages of cocaine, according to court documents. “The amount of substance and manner in which the substance was packaged is consistent with being possessed with the intent to sell,” police wrote. He also possessed marijuana in a Newport cigarette container, police said. He was being held pending arraignment Sunday morning in City Court.

Cory A. Merritt, 26, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 1:38 a.m. Sunday, June 3, at 323 Sterling St. with two counts of first-degree criminal contempt, felonies, second-degree criminal contempt, a misdemeanor, fourth-degree criminal mischief, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment. He is accused of violating the terms of a stay-away order of protection when he kicked the leg of Corrina L. Bradley, 41, and broke a window in the presence of an 11-year-old child during a domestic incident at about 11:42 p.m. Saturday at 323 Sterling St., police said. He was being held pending arraignment Sunday morning in City Court.

Terrah K. Frederick, 30, of 13023 Fuller Rd., Adams Center, was charged by Watertown police at 9:03 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at 610 Hancock St. with second-degree criminal impersonation. Ms. Frederick is accused of providing the name of Janet L. Ivey in attempt to prevent police learning she was wanted on an active warrant, according to court documents. She was being held pending arraignment Sunday morning in City Court.

Cengiz Gulbay, 44, of 132 Court St., Apt. 5, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 7:50 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at 132 Court St. with third-degree criminal trespass. He is accused of entering an active construction site at 150 Court St. which had been fenced off by walking around road barrier and climbing over a fence at about 6:00 p.m. Friday, June 1, according to court documents. He is summoned to appear June 13 in City Court.

Cody M. England, 16, of 552 Mill St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 2:25 p.m. Sunday, June 3, at 142 Mechanic St. with second-degree aggravated harassment. He is accused of threatening physical harm to a 14-year-old girl through Facebook messenger while she was attending classes at Watertown High School, 1335 Washington St., when he threatened to “stomp” the victim’s “(expletive) head in,” at about 12:01 p.m. May 24, according to court documents. He is summoned to appear June 12 in City Court.

Anthony M. Hanson, 27, of 43801 Route 3, Apt. 105, Natural Bridge, was charged by Watertown police at 9:39 a.m. Sunday, June 3, in the 300 block of Stone Street with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, improper signal, driving without a license and driving a vehicle without an interlock device. He is ordered to appear June 28 in City Court.

Robert L. Ashwood, 25, of 8598 Ashwood Dr., Evans Mills, was charged by Watertown police at 12:40 p.m. Saturday, June 2, in the 500 block of Pearl Street with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and an exhaust violation. He is summoned to appear June 21 in City Court.
