Watertown Police Department:

Jordan T. Martin, 47, of 513 Mundy St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, at 22056 Route 11, with first-degree criminal contempt, a felony, and second-degree harassment. He is accused of violating the orders of a City Court refrain-from order of protection when he struck Christopher A. Martin, 52, and pulled him down stairs causing the victim’s right eye to become “very red and swollen to the point where he could not see,” at about 5:37 p.m. Tuesday at their residence, according to court documents. He was being held pending arraignment Wednesday morning in City Court.

Matthew D. Cobb, 26, of 2533 Route 12, Port Leyden, was charged by Watertown police at 12:24 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, at 163 Arsenal St. with second-degree obstruction of governmental administration and third-degree criminal trespass. He is accused of trespassing at the Jefferson County Court complex after being asked to leave and pushed NY State Court Officer Michael F. Delong, 37, after refusing to leave at about 11:43 a.m. Tuesday at Family Court, according to court documents. He is summoned to appear Nov. 1 in City Court.

    

Lowville Village Police Department:

Larry M. Mutchler, 38, of 5426 Park Place, Lowville, was cited by Lowville police at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, with unlawful possession of marijuana. “A patrol went to Mutchler’s residence to investigate a separate incident when he was observed by the patrol weighing marijuana on his kitchen table in plan view,” police said. Mutchler is summoned to appear in Lowville Village Court at a later date.

St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office:

Stephen W. Luther Jr., 43, of 457 Lazy River Road, Hermon, was charged by St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies on Oct. 16 with second-degree criminal trespass, fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. “It is alleged that Luther unlawfully entered and remained in a residence that was not his own,” on Sept. 8 at 1998 County Route 19 in the town of Hermon, deputies said. “Luther also intentionally damaged property that was not his own, and struck an individual with an open hand on the side of the head,” deputies said. He is summoned to appear in Hermom Town Court at a later date.

 

Oswego County Sheriff’s Office:

On 10/7/18 at 11:38 a.m., Jerry L. Taylor, 49, of 118 CR 42, Oswego, NY was operating a 2017 Chevrolet pickup west on Dutch Ridge Rd. in the Town of Scriba when the vehicle reportedly collided with a 2017 Chevrolet at the intersection with SR 481 South that was being operated by Robert T. Shon, 65, of 2931 Pompey Hollow Rd., Cazenovia, NY.  Mr. Taylor was issued a UTT for Failure to Yield the Right of Way.

On 10/7/18 at 6:33 p.m., James R. Peters, 34, of 265 W 8th Street, Oswego, NY was charged with AUO, third-degree and Registration Suspended following a traffic stop on SR 104 in the Town of Scriba. Mr. Peters is scheduled to answer the charges on 11/1/18 in the Town of Scriba Court.

On 10/15/18 at 12:10 p.m., William J. Crowe, 29, of 88 Maiden Lane, Bldg. 88, Apt. 13, Oswego, NY was charged with AUO, second-degree following the investigation into an incident that occurred on 9/13/18 in the City of Fulton.  Mr. Crowe is scheduled to answer the charge on 10/25/18 in the City of Fulton Court.

Patrick R. Cook, 22, of 780 Oswego Ave., Fort Drum, was charged by Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies at 2:24 a.m. Oct. 12 on Interstate 81 at exit 40 in the town of Ellisburg with driving while intoxicated, illegal signal, crossing road hazard markings and failure to keep right. A blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. Deputies did not provide his BAC. He is summoned to appear in Ellisburg Town Court.

New York State Police:

Jonathan J. Gilbert, 38, Carthage, was charged by state police at 6:45 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, at 1001 West St. in Carthage with driving while intoxicated. A blood alcohol content was 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. Troopers did not provide her BAC. He is summoned to appear in Champion Town Court.

Casey L. Woollis, 23, Felts Mills, was charged by state police at 5:56 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, with petit larceny. Troopers did not provide further details. She is summoned to appear in Town of Watertown Court.

John A. Crupi, 31, Watertown, was charged by state police at 8:07 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, at Walmart, 20823 Route 3, town of Watertown, with petit larceny and resisting arrest. He is summoned to appear in Town of Watertown Court.

Ashton W. Nowlin, 24, Lowville, was charged by state police at 3:14 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, at 7155 E. State St. in the town of Lowville with petit larceny. He is summoned to appear in Lowville Town Court.

John D. Nelson, 38, Sandy Creek, was charged by state police at 5:01 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, at 3273 County Route 2 in the town of Richland with petit larceny. He is summoneed to appear in Pulaski Village Court.

Karen E. Houston, 29, Rochester, was cited by state police at 12:20 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, on Interstate 81 at mile marker 107 in the town of Hastings with unlawful possession of marijuana. She is summoned to appear in Hastings Town Court.
