Watertown Police Department:

Austin D. Daleske, 21, of 10332 Fourth Armored Div. Dr., Apt. 12, Fort Drum, was charged by Watertown police at 11:12 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, in the 100 block of Stone Street with aggravated driving while intoxicated and driving the wrong way on a one-way street. His blood alcohol content was 0.21 percent, police said. A BAC of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. Aggravated DWI, which carries harsher penalties upon conviction, is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or greater. He is summoned to appear Nov. 5 in City Court.

Anthony Jimenez, 19, of 26835 Boyer Circle, Evans Mills, was charged by Watertown police at 3:05 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, in the 1000 block of Arsenal Street with driving while intoxicated an speeding. His blood alcohol content was 0.08 percent, police said. A BAC of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. He was released to military custody and summoned to appear Nov. 7 in City Court.

Blake O. Sampson, 17, of 229 W. Main St., Apt. 1, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 12:31 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, at 232 W. Main St. with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and unlawful possession of marijuana. Police said he engaged in violent behavior by positioning himself in a fighting stance while threatening to harm a male at about 12:25 a.m. Sunday at 232 W. Main St. He is summoned to appear Nov. 7 in City Court.

Kelsey M. Sampson, 19, of 232 W. Main St., Apt. 21A, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 12:31 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, at 232 W. Main St. with disorderly conduct. She is accused of yelling while following behind officers after being advised to quiet down and to remain back, according to court documents. She is summoned to appear Nov. 7 in City Court.

Andrew A. Wren, 30, of 31091 Deer Trail, Black River, was charged by Watertown police at 4:00 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, in the 300 block of Washington Street with third-degree assault. Mr. Wren is accused of striking Mason J. Reisinger with a closed fist on his face and head multiple times causing a cut to his head requiring six staples at about 2:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, at Samaritan Medical Center, 830 Washington St., police said. He is summoned to appear Nov. 5 in City Court.

Frank E. Smith Jr., 53, of 738 W. Main St., Apt. 4, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 3:28 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at his residence with petit larceny. He is accused of stealing $34.99 worth of merchandise from Kinney Drugs, 905 Coffeen St., at about 3:09 p.m. Oct. 13, police said. He is summoned to appear Oct. 25 in City Court.

    


Sackets Harbor Village Police Department:

Mcquade P. Ryan, 23, of 209 General Grant Circle, Sackets Harbor, was charged by Sackets Harbor police at 12:59 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, on General Grant Circle with driving while intoxicated, failure to keep right, open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, resisting arrest and obstruction of governmental administration.

Mr. Ryan allegedly refused to provide his hands for handcuffing and fought with police attempting to place him in the patrol vehicle during the arrest process, according to court documents. Further, Mr. Ryan intentionally prevented police from completing the booking process by refusing to provide his pedigree information, provide his fingerprints and signature.

At 3:42 a.m., Mr. Ryan submitted a breath sample revealing his BAC to be 0.16 percent, police said. A BAC of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. Mr. Ryan was remanded to the public safety building in lieu of $500.00 cash bail. Mr. Ryan is summoned to appear in Hounsfield Town Court on Nov. 27 at 3:00 p.m.

Lewis County Sheriff’s Office:

Cody J. Amidon, 27, of 6334 E. Main St., Turin, was arrested at 7:35 p.m. Oct. 19 after being located unresponsive from an apparent narcotic overdose in his vehicle in the parking lot at Lyon Falls Dollar General store, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office. “Amidon was transported to the Lewis County General Hospital where he was evaluated by a sheriff’s deputy certified as a drug recognition expert who confirmed his ability to operate his vehicle was impaired by drugs. Upon his release from the hospital, Amidon was taken into custody and arraigned at the Town of New Bremen Court on the charge  of driving while ability impaired by drugs (third offense within the previous 10 years – class ‘D’ felony).” He was remanded to the Lewis County Jail in lieu of bail. Deputies were assisted in the investigation by the Lewis County Probation Department.

Howard W. Okusko Jr., 56, of 4215 Churton Rd., Venon, NY, was charged by Lewis County sheriff’s deputies at 9:51 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, on Route 26 in the town of West Leyden. with driving wile intoxicated, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and speeding. Deputies said Okusko was operating his pickup truck southbound on Route 26 in the at 53 mph in a 30-mph zone. His blood alcohol content was 0.15 percent, deputies said. A BAC of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. Deputies were assisted at the scene by state police. Okusko is summoned to appear in Lewis Town Court at a later date.

New York State Police:

Bryan L. Colon, 22, Fort Drum, was charged by state police at 3:45 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, on Route 11 in the town of LeRay with driving while intoxicated, speeding in a 55-mph zone and driving without a license. A blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. Troopers did not provide his BAC. Mr. Colon is summoned to appear in LeRay Town Court at a later date.

Hunter M. Nortz, 24, Croghan, was charged by state police at 2:17 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, on Rout 126 in the town of New Bremen with common law DWI, driving while ability impaired by alcohol, unsafe lane change and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Troopers did not provide his BAC. He is summoned to appear in New Bremen Town Court.

Christopher J. Rose, 40, Lowville, was charged by state police at 1:15 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, on Number 4 Road, town of Lowville, with aggravated driving while intoxicated and failure to keep right. A blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. Aggravated DWI, which carries harsher penalties upon conviction, is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or more. Troopers did not provide his BAC. He is summoned to appear in Lowville Town Court at a later date.

Lacy R. Lytle, 35, Heuvelton, was charged by state police at 3:40 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, on Highway 184 in the town of Depeyster with driving while intoxicated. She is summoned to appear in Depeyster Town Court.

James J. Dann, 42, Mexico, was charged by state police at 8:37 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, in the town of New Mexico with felony aggravated DWI with a child under Leandr’a Law, second-degree reckless endangerment, endangering the welfare of a child and refusal to take a breath test. Further details were not provided.

John H. Whipple, 48, Central Square, was charged by state police at 2:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, on County Route 37 in the town of Hastings with felony DWI, felony first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and circumventing an interlock device.

Alexis R. LaRose, 23, Watertown, was charged by state police at 8:15 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at 720 Mill St. in Watertown with petit larceny in connection with an incident reported Oct. 19 in the town of Watertown. She is summoned to appear in Town of Watertown Court at a later date.

Richard L. Gollwitzer, of 2348 West Side Dr., Rochester, was charged by St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies on Oct. 20 on Route 12 in Hammond with speeding, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and unlawful possession of marijuana. He is summoned to appear in Hammond Town Court at a later date.
