Accused of Having Sex with 16-Year-Old Boy Now Charged with Violating Court
Tammy L. Sprague, 31, of 140 High St., Apt. 5, was charged Saturday
evening with second-degree criminal contempt.
Watertown police said she violated the terms of a City Court order of
protection when she "caused third-party communication with the protected
party during a phone conversation between the victim and his sister" at
about 4:20 p.m. Friday.
She is being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending
arraignment Sunday morning in town of Watertown Court.
Ms. Sprague was arrested Thursday morning with third-degree rape, a felony, an
d two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. She is accused of having
sexual intercourse with a 16-year-old boy at her residence sometime between
March 3 and 5 while the boy's 12-year-old brother was present in the same room,
according to court documents.
Man Accused of Punching Police Officer
Justin Brown, 22, of 935 State St., was arrested by Watertown police at
12:51 a.m. Saturday after allegedly punching an officer in the head and
fighting with staff of Mick's Place, 204 Factory St., in a parking lot behind
Mr. Brown was charged with second-degree harassment, resisting arrest and
disorderly conduct. He was ordered to appear March 23 in City Court and was
released to military custody.
He is accused of punching patrolman Mark A. Lamica and struggling with other
officers, according to court documents.
Man Stole Four Tires from Cheney Tire
Kyle J. Messina, 25, of 826 Arsenal St., turned himself into Watertown
police Friday morning and was charged with petit larceny.
He is accused of taking possession of four tires worth $768 belonging to Cheney
Tire, 839 State St., on Dec. 10 with no intent of paying, police allege.
He is to answer the charge March 18 in City Court.
Man Urinated on Sidewalk on Arsenal Street
Randy A. Hardison, 42, of 15578 County Route 3, Sackets Harbor, was
charged by Watertown police at 12:24 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Arsenal
