Woman Accused of Having Sex with 16-Year-Old Boy Now Charged with Violating Court Order

WATERTOWN, N.Y.    Tammy L. Sprague, 31, of 140 High St., Apt. 5, was charged Saturday evening with second-degree criminal contempt.

Watertown police said she violated the terms of a City Court order of protection when she "caused third-party communication with the protected party during a phone conversation between the victim and his sister" at about 4:20 p.m. Friday.

She is being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment Sunday morning in town of Watertown Court.

Ms. Sprague was arrested Thursday morning with third-degree rape, a felony, an d two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. She is accused of having sexual intercourse with a 16-year-old boy at her residence sometime between March 3 and 5 while the boy's 12-year-old brother was present in the same room, according to court documents. 


Watertown Man Accused of Punching Police Officer

WATERTOWN, N.Y.    Justin Brown, 22, of 935 State St., was arrested by Watertown police at 12:51 a.m. Saturday after allegedly punching an officer in the head and fighting with staff of Mick's Place, 204 Factory St., in a parking lot behind the nightclub.

Mr. Brown was charged with second-degree harassment, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. He was ordered to appear March 23 in City Court and was released to military custody.

He is accused of punching patrolman Mark A. Lamica and struggling with other officers, according to court documents.

Police: Man Stole Four Tires from Cheney Tire

WATERTOWN, N.Y.    Kyle J. Messina, 25, of 826 Arsenal St., turned himself into Watertown police Friday morning and was charged with petit larceny.

He is accused of taking possession of four tires worth $768 belonging to Cheney Tire, 839 State St., on Dec. 10 with no intent of paying, police allege.

He is to answer the charge March 18 in City Court.

Police: Man Urinated on Sidewalk on Arsenal Street

WATERTOWN, N.Y.    Randy A. Hardison, 42, of 15578 County Route 3, Sackets Harbor, was charged by Watertown police at 12:24 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Arsenal Street with disorderly conduct after allegedly being observed urinating on a sidewalk.

He was being held on $100 police bail at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment Saturday morning in town of Watertown Court, police said.


2 Teens Cited with Possessing Alcohol

ADAMS, N.Y.    Two teens were cited Friday evening with unlawful possession of alcohol, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department.

Harley M. Gulley, 16, and Christopher L. Rounds, 19, both of 10292 County Route 77, are summoned to appear March 24 in Adams Town Court.

They allegedly possessed an open case of Bud Light beer and were consuming alcohol at 7:21 p.m. Friday in the town of Adams, according to court documents. 


Pot Possession County Lodged Against Teen

WATERTOWN, N.Y.    Jordan D. Olive, 19, of 22584 County Route 177, Rodman, was cited at 10:10 p.m. Friday on County Route 165 in the town of Watertown with unlawful possession of marijuana.

He is to appear April 1 in town of Watertown Court.
