FRIDAY, JULY 30, MEDIA RELEASE

On 7/29/10 at 7:25 a.m., Nathan M. Novak, 20, of 4646 Salina Street, Pulaski, was operating a 2000 Volkswagen east on SR 104 in the town of Mexico when the vehicle reportedly drifted off the south side of the road and struck a tree. Mr. Novak was transported by ambulance to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse. Mr. Novak reportedly fell asleep at the wheel. 

On 7/27/10 at 11:19 p.m., Ryan M. Cleveland, 20, of 529 Paradise Rd., Central Square, NY was arrested for AUO, 3rd degree and No Head Lights following a traffic stop at the intersection of SR 3 and SR 104 in the Town of Mexico.  Mr. Cleveland was released on UTT’s, returnable to the T/O Mexico Court on 8/3/10.

On 7/29/10 at 12:33 p.m., Michelle L. Wideman, 42, of 971 County Route 29, Oswego, NY was arrested based on a Criminal Summons issued by the Town of Scriba Court charging her with Harassment, 2nd degree stemming from a domestic dispute at a Town of Scriba residence on 6/30/10.  Ms. Wideman is scheduled to appear in the T/O Scriba Court on 8/26/10 to answer the charge. 

On 7/29/10 at 10:48 p.m., Kimberly L. Baker, 44, of 31 Morgan Manor Dr., Oswego, NY was arrested for DWI and Operating a MV with BAC .08 of 1 % following the investigation into an incident on Rathburn Rd. in the Town of Oswego in which she was allegedly intoxicated in her vehicle with the vehicle running.  Ms. Baker was released on UTT’s, returnable to the T/O Oswego Court on 8/16/10. 
 

THURSDAY, JULY 29, MEDIA RELEASE

On 7/21/10, Jason M. Kadrams, 27, of Highland St. Bldg #1320, Syracuse, was arrested at 7:10 a.m. for AUO, 3rd degree and Speed in Zone as patrol was conducting a traffic detail on SR 481 in the Town of Scriba. Mr. Kadrams was released on UTT’s, returnable to the Town of Scriba Court on 8/12/10. 

On 7/24/10 at 5:05 a.m., Christopher R. Jackowski, 21, of 811 CR 14, Fulton, NY was arrested for DWI, Imprudent Speed, Moved From Lane Unsafely and Seat Belt Violation stemming from the investigation into a one vehicle mva rollover on Muck Dr. in the Town of Hannibal in which he reportedly was traveling north on Muck Dr. and  lost control rounding a small bend in the roadway causing the vehicle to roll over before coming to rest partially wrapped around a tree in the front yard of 64 Muck Rd.  Mr. Jackowskiwas transported by ambulance to University Hospital in Syracuse.  Mr. Jackowski was released on UTT’s, returnable to the T/O Hannibal Court on 8/14/10. 

On 7/26/10 at 3:00 a.m., Andrea P. Griffin-Bordis, 21, of 24 NW 9th Street, Oswego, NY was arrested for DWI, Operating a MV with BAC .08 of 1%, Failure to Keep Right and Crossing Road Hazard Markings following the investigation into a one vehicle mva on CR 7 in the Town of Hannibal where she reportedly drove off the roadway, across the lawn at 1534 CR 7 and into a wooded area. Ms. Griffin-Bordis was released on UTT’s, returnable to the Town of Hannibal Court on 8/10/10. 

On 7/27/10 at 6:30 a.m., Jason P. Race, 25, of State Route 69, Bldg# 3469, Mexico, NY was arrested for Suspended Registration and Speed in Zone following a traffic stop on SR 104 in the Town of New Haven.  Mr. Race was released on UTT’s, returnable to the Town of New Haven Court on 8/12/10. 

On 7/28/10 at 5:50 p.m., Kyle R. Otting, 17, of N 6th St. Bldg# 61, Fulton, NY was arrested for Criminal Contempt, 1st and Menacing, 2nd following the investigation into a domestic dispute at a residence in the Town of Hannibal where he allegedly threatened to use a baseball bat to cause physical harm to an individual of which has an order of protection filed against him.  Mr. Otting was arraigned in the Town of Hannibal Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $250.00 cash or $500.00 bond with a return to court date of 8/17/10. 

WEDNESDAY, JULY 28, MEDIA RELEASE

On 7/13/10 at 11:00 a.m., Jeremy W. Bailey, 22, of Oneida Street Bldg# 234 Apt #4, Fulton, NY was arrested at the Fulton Police Dept. for Burglary, 3rd degree, a class D felony; Conspiracy, 4th degree, a class E felony; Endangering the Welfare of a Child; Criminal Mischief and Petit Larceny following the investigation into his alleged participation into a burglary at a Town of Volney business on June 24, 2010.  Mr. Bailey was arraigned by the Hon. Judge Kerfien in Volney Town Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5000.00 cash or $10,000.00 bond with a return to court date of 7/19/10. 

On 7/17/10 at 10:00 p.m., Gary D. Barrett, 31, of 2736 CR 3, Hannibal, was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Marihuana following an investigation into an incident in a Town of Granby parking lot. Mr. Barrett was issued an appearance ticket, returnable to Town of Granby Court on 8/16/10. 

On 7/18/10 at 5:00 p.m., Paul M. Smith, 20, of 90 Cole Rd., Fulton, was arrested for AUO, 3rd degree and Improper Towing  and Devin M. Gauger, 22, of 13 Keller Rd., Hannibal, NY  was arrested for AUO, 3rd degree following a traffic stop on Smithers Rd. in the Town of Mexico initiated after patrol observed Mr. Smith towing Mr. Gauger in a vehicle without proper safety chains.  Mr. Smith and Mr. Gauger were both released on UTT’s, returnable to the Town of Mexico Court at a later date. 

On 7/27/10 at 6:30 a.m., Jason P. Rice, 25, of State Route 69, Bldg# 3469, Mexico, NY was arrested for Suspended Registration and Speed In Zone following a traffic stop on SR 104 in the Town of New Haven. Mr. Rice was released on UTT’s, returnable to the Town of New Haven Court on 8/12/10. 

On 7/27/10, Mark S. Olender, 52, of 369 CR 4, Central Square, NY was arrested at 12:30 p.m. for Criminal Mischief, Fourth Degree following the investigation into a domestic incident in which he allegedly broke the victim’s sunglasses, cell phone and perfume bottles.  Mr. Olender was arraigned in the Town of Hastings Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5000.00 cash with a return to court date of 8/11/10. 

On 7/27/10 at 6:00 p.m., Bruce R. Dings, 23, of 800 Vine St., Apt #1, Syracuse, was arrested during an investigation into a harassment complaint, based on an arrest warrant charging him with Endangering the Welfare of a Child issued by Hon. Judge Gracey, Mexico Town Court. Mr. Dings was arraigned in the Town of Mexico Court and ROR’d with a return to court date of 8/10/10. 
TUESDAY, JULY 27, MEDIA RELEASE

On 7/22/10 at 3:51 p.m., Joseph L. Brown, 27, of 7358 Black Road, Lake Wales, Fla., was operating a 2006 Chevrolet pick up west on SR 104 in the Town of Hannibal when he reportedly stopped at the intersection with SR 3 and was rear ended by a 2000 Pontiac being operated by Kathleen Scott, 26, of 8387 Cooper Rd., Weedsport. A passenger in Mr. Brown’s vehicle, Austin J. Bergau, 12, was transported by ambulance to Oswego Hospital. Following too closely seems to have been a contributing factor. 

On 7/22/10, Rebecca L. Crandall, 27, of 40 Phillips Rd., Granby, was arrested at 3:18 p.m. for AUO, third-degree (suspended on 1/6/10 for insurance lapse) and Speed Exceeding 55 mph following a traffic stop on SR 481 in the Town of Volney.  Ms. Crandall was issued UTT’s, returnable to the T/O Volney Court on 8/9/10. 

On 7/26/10 at 12:00 p.m., Frederick E. Carvey III, 34, of 20 West 11th St., Fulton, was arrested based on a Family Court Warrant issued by Hon. Judge Seager. Mr. Carvey was arraigned in Oswego County Family Court by Hon. Judge Seager and ROR’d with a return to court date of 7/27/10. 

On 7/26/10 at 12:48 p.m., William F. Constanza, 58, of 915 Cayuga St., Hannibal, was operating a 2008 Chevrolet pick up south on SR 104 in the Town of Oswego, 500 ft north of SR 104A, when he reportedly rear ended a 2004 Hyundai stopped, waiting to turn left into a parking lot, being operated by Dominique C. Canale, 17, of 50 Skyline Dr., Oswego, NY.  Mr. Constanza was issued a UTT for Following Too Closely. 
 

 MONDAY, JULY 26, MEDIA RELEASE

On 7/23/10 at 1:33 p.m., Candice M. Waldron, 52, of 7 School Road, Redfield, NY, was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree, (license suspended 8/19/09, Town of Clay, for failing to answer a summons), following an investigation that began after she was observed standing by her vehicle on the west shoulder of I-81 after her vehicle reportedly broke down. Ms. Waldron was issued a ticket and released to a third party. She is scheduled to answer the charge before Town of Hastings Court on 8/09/10. 

On 7/23/10 at 9:51 p.m., Jill M. Sterling, 44, of 15 Pine Grove Drive, Altmar, NY, was arrested for Promoting Prison Contraband, Second Degree, a class A misdemeanor, after being accused of being in possession of a quantity of pills after being booked into the Oswego County Correctional Facility to serve a weekend sentence stemming from an unrelated incident. Ms. Sterling was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charge before Oswego City Court on 8/26/10. 

On 7/25/10 at 12:32 a.m., Joshua M. Futo, 22, of 6648 Winchell Rd., Warners, NY, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, and Crossed Hazardous Road Markings, following a traffic stop on SR 481 in the Town of Scriba.  Mr. Futo was reportedly observed crossing the yellow line into the paved median, then crossing into the driving lane before returning to the passing lane, while driving southbound.  Mr. Futo was arraigned before the Hon. Kenneth Adkins, Town of Scriba Court, and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $250 cash bail or $1,000 bail bond.  He is scheduled to return to court on 7/29/10.  The arrest was part of an assigned STOP-DWI detail.
