Police Blotter for Tuesday, Feb. 8   

Roque Murray, 38, of 21345 County Route 63, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 9:10 p.m. Saturday with trespassing at Kicker’s Bar, 498 Factory St., after being told repeatedly to leave. Murray was taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety building and was released on $100 bail. He is summoned to appear at 11 a.m. Feb. 22 in City Court.  

Dale A. Damon, 52, of 20408 Hadcock Rd., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 9:29 p.m. Sunday in the parking lot of the Brew Ha Ha, 468 Coffeen St., with three misdemeanor charges stemming from a DWI. After being charged with DWI and blowing a 0.14 percent BAC, police say. A BAC level of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. Damon was found to have a hydrocodone pill beneath the driver seat of her vehicle, in a reachable location. She was taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building where she was released with appearance tickets for City Court on Feb. 16.  

Anthony C. Goodman, 25, of 1030 Ferguson Ave., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 12:28 p.m. at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building with 4th Degree Possession of a Weapon. Police say Goodman possessed a Sig Sauer 45 caliber handgun, which was found to be unregistered in New York State. He turned himself in and was turned over to military custody, according to a report. He was given an appearance ticket for 11 a.m. Monday in City Court.  

Jonathan E. Huntsman, 23, of 12261 County Route 75, Adams, is facing a DWI charge from Jefferson County sheriff's deputies following a one-car accident at 1:38 a.m. Sunday on Route 11 in the town of Adams. Police responded to a car stuck in a snow embankment on Route 11, which was apparently being driven by Huntsman. After questioning Huntsman, who admitted to drinking three Budweiser beers at Dry Hill Ski Area earlier, he blew BAC of 0.21 percent and was arrested, deputies said. A BAC level of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. Aggravated DWI, which carries a harsher sentence upon conviction, is charged when the blood alcohol content is 0.18 percent or more. After being search, police found a glass pipe in his pants pocket that contained marijuana resin. He was charged with DWI, aggravated DWI, third-degree aggravated unauthorized operation of a motor vehicle, driving at a speed not reasonable and prudent and unlawful possession of marijuana. He was issued uniform traffic tickets, released and is summoned for arraignment.  

Brandon L. Coyer, 24, of 36917 State Route 3, Carthage, was arrested by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies at 12:06 a.m. Monday on State Route 283 in the town of Pameila, with felony counts stemming from DWI charges. Police charged Coyer with Aggravated DWI, DWI, 1st Degree Unlicensed Operation of a Vehicle, Failing to Keep Right, Driving Across a Hazardous Marking, No Distinctive Plate, Consumption of Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle and Operating a Motor Vehicle without Interlock after being pulled over. He was found to have a BAC of .25 percent. A BAC level of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. Aggravated DWI, which carries a harsher sentence upon conviction, is charged when the blood alcohol content is 0.18 percent or more. Police say Coyer was previously charged with two DWIs, the first on Aug. 6, 2007, in the city of Watertown and the second, Sep. 9, 2008, in the city of Rome, Oneida County. He awaits prosecution in Pamelia Town Court.
 
Jerrald C. Sankey, 21, of Fifth Armoured Division Dr., Fort Drum, was charged by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies at 4:55 a.m. Saturday at McDonald's in the town of LeReay with DWI after being found passed out at the wheel of his car in the drive through lane. After deputies arrived at the scene and awoke Sankey, who had been passed out in his 2004 Chevy Trailblazer, he was found to have a BAC of 0.10 percent, according to a report. A BAC level of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. He was taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building and released with an appearance ticket for Feb. 21 in LeRay Town Court.  

Isaiah B. Miller, 34, of 280 E. Main St., was charged by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies at 3:44 a.m. Sunday at a traffic stop in the city of Watertown with disorderly conduct. Police say Miller was riding in the passenger seat of a car that was passing by an unrelated traffic stop. He allegedly yelled obscenities and, after the car he was riding in was pulled over, continued to scream at authorities, they said. He is summoned to appear Feb. 18 in City Court.  

Jacob R. Nickels, 17, of 29619 State Route 3, Black River, was charged by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies Saturday in the town of Rutland with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Criminal Mischief. Police say Nickels drove off with a vehicle belonging to Daniel M. McDougal, 110 Stafford Dr., Black River, on Jan. 17, without permission. Nickels reportedly caused damage to the vehicle and McDougal’s home. Nickels is summoned to appear in Rutland Town Court. 

Andrew M. Schuster, 27, of 15195 U.S. Route 11, Adams Center, was charged by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies at 1 a.m. Sunday in the Town of Adams with DWI. Police responded to an unconscious male lying in the snow on the side of the road on Route 11 in the town of Adams, near his vehicle that was being towed from a nearby snowbank. After police say they noticed the smell of alcohol on his breath, Schuster was read his rights to which he responded, “We already know I’m drunk. We don’t need to do these tests.” He reportedly told deputies he had “a lot” of alcohol before driving. His blood alcohol content was 0.22 percent, deputies said. A BAC level of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. Aggravated DWI, which carries a harsher sentence upon conviction, is charged when the blood alcohol content is 0.18 percent or more. He is scheduled to appear at 7 p.m. Feb. 16  in Adams Town Court.  

Joseph P. Northington III, 32, of 207 Wealtha Ave., Apt. 638A, Watertown, was arrested by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies at 9:57 a.m. Friday at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building after a warrant was issued by LeRay Justice George E. Meade III after failing to show for a January arraignment for a misdemeanor charge. Police charged Northington with 3rd Degree Aggrivated Unauthorized Operation of a Motor Vehicle and driving 64 mph in a 40-mph zone on Jan. 9., in the Town of LeRay. He was summoned to be arraigned in the town court on Jan. 24, at which he did not show. Northington was arraigned in town of Watertown Court and posted $100 bail. He is summoned to appear 7 p.m. Feb. 14 in LeRay Town Court.  

Robert H. Makela, 29, of 4242 French Settlement Rd., Lorraine, was charged by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies at 1:31 a.m. Friday on County Route 139 in the Town of Lorraine with two misdemeanor charges stemming from a DWI.  Police say Makela was speeding and crossed the center line before he was pulled over in a red 2008 Ford. It was discovered, according to authorities, that Makela was consuming alcohol in the vehicle and he subsequently blew a BAC of 0.08 or more. A BAC level of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law.He was also charged with DWI. Makela is summoned to appear in the Town of Lorraine Court at 7 p.m., Feb. 15.  

Yarbrough J. Latucas, 26, of 132 N. Pleasant St., was charged by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies on Thursday with two felony counts after he allegedly fought and stole a vehicle from another at her place of business. Authorities say Latucas went to Sibley Nursing Personnel Service, located at 21107 State Route 12F in the town of Watertown, and stole a set of car keys to a 2002 Buick Century belonging to the business’ employee Neely J. Shaw, by twisting her arm and forcing them out of her hands. The struggle reportedly caused Shaw’s finger to be cut and her forearm to swell, deputies said. After the alleged dispute, police say Latucas drove away with the car that belonged to Shaw, they said. Latucas is being charged with 2nd Degree Harassment, 3rd Degree Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, 4th Degree Grand Larceny, 3rd Degree Robbery and 2nd Degree Aggravated Unauthorized Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
