Blotter Report, Arrests:
Tyler W. Guy, 17, of 15710 Clark Rd., town of
Hounsfield, was charged by Jefferson County sheriff's
deputies at 9:30 p.m. Saturday on Route 3 in the town of
Hounsfield with driving while ability impaired by drugs,
unlawful possession of marijuana, inadequate muffler and
inadequate tail lamps. He is summoned to appear Feb. 16 in
Hounsfield Town Court.
Dennis M. Lavoie, 21, of 22769 Route 180, Dexter,
was charged by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies at
11:33 p.m. Friday on Route 12F in town of Watertown with
driving while intoxicated and failure to keep right.
Deputies said he was observed crossing the yellow center
line twice on Floral Drive and once on County Route 202.
His blood alcohol content was 0.14 percent, deputies said. A BAC of 0.08
percent or more is consider proof of intoxication under
state law. He is summoned to appear Feb. 16 in town of
Watertown Court.
Rodney L. Johnson, 45, 336-B Quaker Ave.,
Philadelphia, was charged by Jefferson County sheriff's
deputies at 11:33 p.m. Friday on Route 3 in the town of
Hounsfield with driving while intoxicated, following to
closely and driving on the shoulder. His blood alcohol
content was 0.16 percent, deputies said. He is summoned to appear Feb. 16 in City Court.
Andre F. Cring, 21, of 108 Hounsfield St., Sackets
Harbor, was cited by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies
at 2:05 a.m. Saturday on Jericho Road in the town of
Hounsfield with unlawful possession of marijuana, inadequate
muffler and excessive window tint. He is summoned to
appear Feb. 16 in Hounsfield Town Court.
Clinton Washington Sr., 49, of 623 Burchard St., was charged by Watertown
police at 11:20 a.m. Thursday with a first-degree criminal sex act after he allegedly had sexual contact with a child under the age of 13.
Police allege Mr. Washington engaged in oral sex with a female “who was 11 or 12 years old at the time of the incident,” at a Superior Street residence on October
1. He was taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building and is being held pending arraignment in
City Court.
Charles W. Lemonais Jr., 24, of 38909 County Route 15 LaFargeville, was charged by Watertown
police at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in the 300 block of Arsenal Street with driving on a suspended registration and license.
He was taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, issued two uniform traffic tickets and is summoned to appear in
City Court.
Zechariah M. McGilvary, 30, of 1429 Gill St., Apt. 424 A, was charged by Watertown Police at 12:49 a.m. Friday at his home with second-degree harassment and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
Mr. McGilvary allegedly harassed and punched Delia S. Williams, of the same address, in the right side of her face while engaged in a domestic dispute before unplugging the phone jack to prevent Ms. Williams from summoning police
assistance, police said. He was taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building where he is being held before a scheduled appearance in Watertown City Court.
Moses B. Charles, 24, of 435 Gaffney Dr., Apt. 2,
Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 1:42 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Arsenal Street with driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle under the influence and failure to signal to turn.
Police said his BAC registered at 0.14 percent. Mr. Charles was taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, issued three uniform traffic tickets and turned over to military police. He is summoned to appear Feb.
21 in City Court.
Thomas E. D. Cornell, 427 Lincoln St., was charged by Watertown
police at 10 a.m. Saturday at his home with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Mr. Cornell was found to have a 9mm automatic firearm in his possession, police say.
He was taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, processed and released. Mr. Cornell is summoned to appear in
City Court
Trent A. Paradise, 23, of 10224 4th Armored Division Dr., Apt. 228, was charged by Watertown Police at 3 a.m. Saturday outside Poor Richard’s, 1309 State St., with disorderly conduct.
Police say Mr. Paradise punched and pushed others while engaged in a fight in the tavern’s parking lot.
He was taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building and released with an appearance ticket.
James T. Canfield, 23, of 10224 4th Armored Division Dr., Apt. 241, Fort Drum, was charged by Watertown Police at 3:30 a.m. Saturday at Poor Richard’s, 1309 State St., with third-degree assault.
Mr. Canfield struck Keenan L. Brooks, 10234 4th Armored Division Dr., in the left side of his mouth causing a laceration, police say.
He was taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building and released to military police with an appearance ticket.
Pierre I. Auguste, 10212 4th Armored Division Dr., Apt. 256, Fort Drum, was charged by Watertown Police at 2:59 a.m. Saturday at Poor Richard’s, 1309 State St., with fourth-degree criminal mischief.
Police say Mr. Auguste intentionally broke a window at the tavern with his arms.
He was taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building and released to military police. Mr. Auguste is summoned to appear Feb.
10 in City Court.
Kenneth L. Vrooman, Jr., 33, of 692 Mill St.,
Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 8:39 p.m. Friday
at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building with endangering the welfare of a child.
Police say Mr. Vrooman allegedly pushed a woman while she was holding
her 3-month-old child at about 6:15 p.m. Friday at 1142
Arsenal St.
Mr. Vrooman was taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building where he
was being held pending arraignment
Saturday morning in Watertown Town Court.
Barbara A. Och, 54, of 112 Barker Rd., Apt. 115,
Antwerp, was charged by Jefferson County sheriff's
deputies at 2:40 a.m. Friday on Route 11 in the town of
LeRay with driving while intoxicated, moving from lane
unsafely and consumption of alcohol in a vehicle. Deputies
said her blood alcohol content was 0.15 percent. A BAC of
0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication
under state law. Deputies said her vehicle was observed swerving.
She is summed to appear Feb. 20 in LeRay Town Court.
Tina
L. Roch, 34, said to be homeless, was charged by
Jefferson County sheriff's deputies at 5 p.m. Thursday
second-degree forgery, second-degree possession of a
forged instrument, first-degree offering a false
instrument, all felonies, and second-degree falsifying
business records, a misdemeanor, after being arrested on a
sealed indictment issued by Jefferson County Court Judge
Kim H. Martusewicz. Further details were not provided. She
is to be arraigned Friday morning in County Court.
